No camp is complete without a Damper. You should all have a go. Savoury or sweet there is really no limit to the things you can do with a damper. Great with a cup of billy tea, even better to soak up the juice from your hot pot, or split like a muffin and pan fry the next morning with bacon & eggs as a burger.

Hot pot or One pot cooking is camp food at It’s best. Any casserole recipe will do but now is the time to be inventive. Don't be literal. Try stacking 2 or more camp ovens on a base of heat beads with hot beads between layers and put different things in different areas i.e. Meat, Vegetables & Dessert.

A roast is usually meat and vegetables cooked in an enclosed oven. Let your imagination kick in. Try the BBQ, or a spit roast, camp ovens or even 200 litre drum. Try the stacking method.

A savoury pie should be a flavour filled pie with spices. A pie that can even be a meal on it’s own or it may contain meat, vegetables, or both.

A dessert pie can be made from fruit or other sweet filling

Pizza is really easy camp food & goes well with wine or beer. Easy to make from scratch with basic ingredients or use a pre made pizza base, the family will love it.
