Terms and Conditions

It is our pleasure to have you as guests on our property. To enhance your safety and ensure you have a pleasurable experience, we require that all guests abide by the following terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these rules may result in your being requested to leave the property.

We require that all guests register with us on arrival.
Our property is large (127 hectares) and it is important to know who is on the property at all times. Any person on our property who does not register their name with us upon arrival will be deemed to be trespassing.

While engaging in any activity on the property:- At all times please practice common safety procedures and give consideration to others. Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible person.

There are some self-guiding bushwalking tracks in a number of different areas across the property. They are minimally marked and therefore some care is needed. Walk tracks vary from easy to very difficult. You must exercise due care for the degree of difficulty chosen. Track conditions may be rough. You should allow sufficient time for your return prior to sunset and you should take adequate drinking water with you. Please ask us for suggested walks and estimated walk times. It could take several hours to organize a rescue, so you must let somebody know where you are going and when you expect to return. You are responsible for your own actions. Neurum Creek Bush Retreat is a natural environment including native animals, which may require caution e.g. wild deer, reptiles, ticks, etc. Flora and Fauna are to be left as found. Remember – leave nothing behind but your footprints, take nothing but memories or photos.

Water activities can be dangerous. The creek changes with the season. Do not assume it is safe to jump or dive in as there may be hidden logs or branches which have been washed down by floods or have fallen into the creek. Minors must be under the supervision of parents / guardians at all times.

Emergency assembly area. In the event of an emergency all guests on the property are to assemble at Area C which is near the main entrance and shown on the map overleaf.

Falling tree limbs. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that any dead/dying or dangerous limbs are removed from the trees in the campsites, care must be exercised by guests to ensure that they do not erect their camp directly under tress.

Firearms are not allowed.

Generators may be permitted in areas specified by management.

Camp areas to be left clean and tidy. Use the rubbish bins provided. Recycle bins (yellow lid) are for plastic milk bottles, glass, and cans.

Check out time - camping is for 24 hours so we are flexible with departure times.

We would like our guests to know that at Neurum Creek Bush Retreat you are always our first priority and if you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to come and have a chat with us.

Relax, have fun and enjoy your stay. Hosts, Simon & Tracey Gavin.
